Saskatchewan Pulse Growers
Collateral that sets the pulse racing.
Work Type
Overview
Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG) is a farmer-led powerhouse, championing beans, lentils, peas, and other mighty staples that keep Canada well-fed. Their mission? Leadership and market opportunities for growers across Saskatchewan, all while shining a spotlight on the versatility of pulse crops in everyday diets. Working with WJ, SPG sought fresh, eye-catching materials to showcase their vital role in the agricultural community.
Challenge
SPG’s existing materials just weren’t cutting it. SPG needed collateral that would straight-up grab attention at trade shows, educate audiences, and make pulses the undeniable star of the meal (and the booth). Oh, and these graphics couldn’t just look good – they had to work hard over multiple years and still feel fresh and relevant.
Insight
The goal was to take SPG’s existing brand and run it into the endzone, producing materials that stood out in any setting. Tabletop and booth graphics became engaging and reusable staples, while an approachable tone brought life to the brand. Each design married SPG’s authority in the pulse industry with a friendly personality that drew people in.
Results
“With our designs, SPG walked into trade shows armed with striking visuals that turned heads and sparked conversations,” says WJ Associate Creative Director, Melissa Thorne, “Beyond the booths, their updated materials reinforced their leadership while inviting more people – locally and globally – to explore the delicious versatility of pulse crops. With a refreshed brand presence, SPG is well-positioned to grow their community of pulse enthusiasts for years to come.
